According to the media, large numbers of female Soldiers active in the military are claimed to be so poor that they must resort to prostitution in order to feed their infant children. That’s ridiculous. Their proposed solution? — Five years in prison for the officer who allegedly solicited these female Soldiers and a public outcry when he received two years in prison. Instead of going after Soldiers with life-crippling penalties, perhaps the military should consider finding out why these Soldiers allegedly had to resort to prostitution in order to “survive.”
