Fort Still
Court Martial Defense

Fort Sill, Oklahoma, stands as a pivotal hub for military progression, blending a rich tapestry of cultures while accommodating units dedicated to field artillery and air defense artillery. It serves as a dynamic environment where countless service members navigate their career paths, often grappling with the complexities of UCMJ regulations.

Defending Soldiers' Rights

Fort Still Soldiers Who Refuse To Give Up Need An Aggressive Military Court Martial Defense

Good soldiers never quit and refuse to relent in the face of adversity. Adversity may come unexpectedly, even in the form of a military court martial, but perseverance remains essential. Just as it’s unthinkable for a soldier to falter in battle abroad, it’s equally unacceptable to surrender to a court martial without a fight.

Consider the inspiring story of Benjamin Wilson, an officer commissioned at Fort Sill in 1942. Despite missing World War II action, Wilson’s dedication led him to enlist as a Private after a brief civilian stint. By 1951, in the Korean War, his leadership propelled him to 1st Sergeant. During a critical mission to capture “Hell Hill,” Wilson’s valor shone. Despite being wounded, he relentlessly led charges, single-handedly neutralizing enemy threats and rallying his men. Even after being wounded multiple times, Wilson refused to stay down, earning the Medal of Honor for his indomitable spirit and unwavering courage.

In the face of adversity, Wilson’s story serves as a testament to the resilience and determination inherent in every soldier.

Combatting UCMJ Misuse

What Kind of Charges Can Fort Still Soldiers Fight Under the UCMJ?

Our founder, Tim Bilecki, spent years inside the military justice system as a senior defense counsel with the Army. What he saw was a system that would spare no cost and step over any career in order to seem infallible. It pressured Soldier s to accept their punishment like good Soldier s and completely disregard how articles of the UCMJ were inconsistently applied from command to command. What Tim learned first hand was that it is almost a shock to the system when Soldier s fight back with a fierceness unforeseen. When a good Soldier refuses to lay down, they win more often than they lose. We believe a staunch military court martial defense to be essential to this process and as such, we don’t shy away from the most serious of charges.

  1. UCMJ Articles 120 & 134 (Sex Offenses): Allegations equate to guilt; we advocate for innocence, ensuring justice prevails for all parties involved in sexual misconduct cases.
  2. UCMJ Article 121 (Fraud and Larceny): Accusations without evidence can ruin careers; we defend the wrongly accused against charges like BAH fraud and conspiracy to defraud.
  3. UCMJ Article 128 (Assault and Violent Crime): Understanding military dynamics, we defend against serious charges such as assault and manslaughter, ensuring fair treatment and representation.
  4. UCMJ Article 112a (Drug Crimes): Fighting drug-related charges to reveal full context and defend service members against charges like drug possession and distribution.
  5. Punitive Articles of the UCMJ 77-134 (Military Specific Offenses): Defending against unwarranted charges, advocating for justice and resilience in cases of fraternization, AWOL, and more.
