Civilian Defense Counsel Tim Bilecki was retained after a Marine Sergeant was charged at a general court martial with BAH fraud. This consisted of multiple violations of article 121, UCMJ and article 107, UCMJ. The issue centered on whether our client’s spouse actually resided in New York during the charged timeframe. In order to obtain exculpatory evidence, Tim Bilecki and Bilecki Law Group teams, traveled to the east coast. They took a deposition of our client’s spouse as well as to obtain other exculpatory information. After taking the deposition, Mr. Bilecki then flew to Okinawa Japan to try the case in front of a military panel. After several days in trial, the jury came back with a verdict of not guilty to all charges and specifications.
