An Army Soldier stationed in Korea was accused of domestic violence by his spouse and fell under investigation after his spouse went to his command. After learning that he was under investigation, the Soldier retained a military lawyer for UCMJ Article 128 domestic violence, Tim Bilecki, to defend him.
Bilecki’s defense team investigated the matter and quickly learned that our client’s spouse was upset because she believed her husband was cheating on her. With this motive to fabricate, and without any physical evidence to substantiate the allegations, we brought this information to the command and prosecutors.
After receiving this information, the command lifted the FLAG, and no charges were preferred against our client.
