Bilecki’s defense team was retained on a consultation basis to review the evidence against the accused and advise the detailed military counsel on trial strategy.
Tim Bilecki, a noted Article 120 UCMJ sexual assault attorney in Guam, reviewed the evidence, discovery, and witness interviews and also conducted an independent investigation into the matter. After doing so, Bilecki acted in a consultation role and worked with the Navy’s detailed military counsel to discuss trial strategy and best courses of action.
The case was concluded by the accused accepting a pre-trial agreement to lesser-included assault offenses and all sexual assault-related charges being dismissed.
