An Army Captain was falsely accused of sexual assault and domestic violence by his spouse in an attempt to gain leverage in their ongoing divorce and custody dispute. Attorney Tim Bilecki was retained early in the investigation and represented the Captain throughout the investigation and up to the preferral of charges at a general court martial. A conflict arose and the case attorney Mike Waddington took over the case from Bilecki, who continued to consult on the case as a trial strategist. Mr. Waddington flew to Hawaii and tried the case at a fully contested member’s trial obtaining a verdict of Not Guilty of all charges and specifications.
