An Army E-5 was on trial for allegedly stabbing someone during a bar fight in the Sunabe Seawall area of Okinawa. Bilecki Law Group was retained shortly thereafter, with Timothy Bilecki acting as lead counsel in the case.

Mr. Bilecki fought the case in front of a jury – who full acquitted our client of all charges and specifications. The highlight of the trial occurred during the defense case in chief when the person who we believe actually did the stabbing invoked his rights while on the witness stand; a true Perry Mason moment. The panel deliberated for all of 20 minutes before returning their not-guilty verdict.
