Our firm was retained by a Marine SNCO accused of assault, stalking and disorderly conduct by his spouse. The Staff Sergeant was facing charges in both military court as well as violating a temporary restraining order (TRO) in state court in Honolulu. Attorney Tim Bilecki investigated the case and determined that the complainant had a motive to fabricate the incident in order to gain an advantage in family court. We worked directly with the military senior military prosecutor handling the case and negotiated a pre-preferral agreement. In this agreement, our client would be allowed to separate from the military without criminal charges.
