Facts

An Army Major at Camp Humphreys was under an active Article 120 sexual assault investigation, with the case routed through the Office of Special Trial Counsel as a covered offense. A conviction could have brought confinement, dismissal and sex-offender registration. The investigation also put his career and security clearance at risk.

The point was to show the conflict in her own accounts, not to ask counsel to accept a general assertion that she lacked credibility.
