Our client was a member of the Coast Guard who was taken into custody by law enforcement under suspicion of the use and possession of narcotics. Once detained, the coast guardsman immediately retained Attorney Tim Bilecki who stopped any interrogation before it could start. Mr. Bilecki also played hard ball and refused to give consent to any searches and seizures of our client. Our client was released from custody but law enforcement continued its pursuit of criminal drug charges. Fortunately, Mr. Bilecki was able to strategically slow down the investigative process thereby allowing our client to ETS from the military, securing an Honorable discharge from the Coast Guard before charges were ever preferred.
