A Navy Sailor received non-judicial punishment for article 112a, UCMJ and article 113, UCMJ. Civilian defense counsel Tim Bilecki was retained to represent the Sailor at his administrative separation board. Once informed of his choice to retain a civilian defense attorney, the command canceled the “ad sep” board and the Sailor received an honorable discharge from the Navy.
