Timothy J. Bilecki is a Honolulu, Hawaii-based attorney who defends U.S. Military service members facing criminal charges in military courts. He travels worldwide to protect clients, with a primary focus on cases in the Pacific Rim, including Hawaii, Guam, mainland Japan, Okinawa, and Korea. His key areas of expertise include military sexual assault defense, financial fraud, international drug trafficking, and violent offenses.
He enjoys a "Superb 10.0" rating on Avvo and is certified through the Lead Counsel Organization. Mr. Bilecki is a bestselling author who received a Quilly Award from the National Academy of Best-Selling Authors after co-authoring the book Dare to Succeed with Jack Canfield, which hit eight bestseller lists in August 2013. He’s also an "A group" graduate of the prestigious National Criminal Defense College, a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and a co-founder and co-host of the Military Law News Network.
Mr. Bilecki’s cases have been featured on various national and international media outlets, including CNN, Fox News, E! Entertainment Television and USA Today. He has also advised the production team for National Geographic’s documentary series, Drugs, Inc., on the episode entitled "Hawaiian Ice." Mr. Bilecki was featured on a full-length documentary entitled The Last Line of Defense which aired nationally on The Bio Channel in 2015.

His cases are both local and international. Some have led him to far-flung places across the globe, including the barangays of Manila, the streets of Cambodia and the vills of South Korea. Before launching his practice, Bilecki was a member of the U.S. Army JAG Corps and lauded as one of the best trial attorneys in the U.S. Army. Mr. Bilecki's first duty assignment in the military was at Fort Hood, Texas, where he served as a military defense counsel. He was then stationed in Honolulu, HI, and served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney, and later as an International Law Attorney focusing on the Asia-Pacific Theater. He concluded his military career with a two-year tour in South Korea as the Senior Defense Counsel for the Army in Asia.
Mr. Bilecki is married, has two sons, and in his spare time enjoys international travel, Formula One, racing Porsches and spending time with his family.
