GAO Believes Male on Male Sexual Assault in the Military is a Prevalent Problem

After conducting a logically faulty survey based on hypothetical scenarios and hearsay, the GAO has come to the conclusion that male on male sexual assault in the military is a prevalent problem. They state that so few male Soldiers come forward about being sexually assaulted because of a sense of shame.

Perhaps, however, since the GAO has no real evidence to suggest otherwise, almost no male soldiers come forward about being sexually assaulted because almost no male soldiers are actually sexually assaulted. Believing this, however, would defeat the entire point of the GAO’s “survey.
