Victim's Legal Counsel Caught Potentially Destroying Evidence
Recently, Maj. Chantell Higgins, head of the Marine Corps’ Victims’ legal counsel program in Japan, has come under much-deserved fire for allegedly instructing one of her clients, an alleged sexual assault victim, to destroy evidence in the form of cell phone information that was relevant to the case. While Higgins may have destroyed one piece of evidence, she’s provided the world with plenty more evidence of just how far members of the Marine Corps' Victims' Legal Counsel program may be willing to go to twist the truth in favor of their client.
